Obituary

Pauline Edna Wood, age 75 of North Platte, passed away on Thursday April 18, 2013.
Pauline was born on April 25, 1937 in Danville, IN to Claude and Gertrude (Adams) Fisher. She grew up in North Platte. As a teenager she worked at Shamrock and Tomahawk Café as a waitress. She moved to New Mexico and worked at Western View Steakhouse. She returned to North Platte in 1980 and worked at Campbells Soup, the American Legion, Quik Stop and Adult Care. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her son Dannie Fisher of Greenwood, NE and brother Clarence ""Ike"" Fisher of North Platte.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Cheryl Renea Fisher; three sisters Mary Ellen Carland, Lola Mae Larson, Alma Sue Fisher; and brother John Fisher.
A memorial has been established in her name and online condolences may be made at www.adamsswanson.com. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Garfield Table Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday April 22, 2013 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
