Randy J. Murphy Sr., 47, of North Platte, passed away December, 13, 2023 at home.  He was born on May 13, 1976 to Mitchell Sr. and Janet (Warnick) Murphy in Gothenburg.

Randy grew up in North Platte and worked on vehicles with his father.  He worked many mechanic jobs over the years.  Randy always helped his parents out in their businesses.  He loved working on cars, making people laugh, and fishing.

Survivors include mother, Janet Murphy of North Platte; daughter, Rebecca (Wyatt) Wolf of Paxton; son, Randy Murphy Jr. of McCook; granddaughter, Amara; siblings Fred (Misty) Murphy of North Platte, Mellisa (Chris) Marshall of North Platte; numerous other family members and many friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Murphy Sr., brother, Mitchell "Ace" Murphy Jr.; uncles, Dale Murphy and Gary Warnick.

Cremation was chosen and private family services will be held at a later date.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
