Rebecca Shawn Foster, age 46 of Lincoln, formerly of North Platte, passed away in Lincoln on Monday March 13, 2017.
Becky was born on August 1, 1970 in Grand Island, NE to Frank and Elsie May (North) Foster. She graduated from North Platte Senior High School and spent most of her life in North Platte with her mom as her caregiver. At the time of her passing, Becky was residing in Lincoln with Gary McBride and his children.
Becky is survived by her sisters Shirley Schirmer and special friend Andy Perry, Coreen Cooper and special friend Oney Crane, Marsha (Ron) Daly; brothers Douglas Foster, Tom (Missy) Foster, Daryll Foster; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Foster and Elsie Foster; sisters Holly Smith and Jackie Boe; brother Frank Foster; sister-in-law Vera Foster; and numerous other family members.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be donated to the Animal Shelter and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com. Cremation was chosen and memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home with Reverend Ryan Alexander officiating. Inurnment will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to do so may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday March 20th and 21st at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
