Renae Earlene Lewis, 53, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away January 29 2026 in North Platte.  She was born February 6, 1972 to Frank Curtis and Rebecca Lynn (Parish) Szakacs in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Renae was raised by her mother and her grandparents. She graduated High School in Gering Nebraska, and attended Pharmacy School. She lived in many places in Wyoming and Nebraska, settling in North Platte. She had a passion for animals and especially loved her rescue dogs.

She is survived by her grandmother, Earlene Parish of Lemoyne Nebraska, her Aunt Bobby Parish (Tammy Sanders) of Lewellen Nebraska, her cousins Kathy Major (Jeff Bisko) of Clancy Montana and Jesse Major (Shara Baars) of Brighton Colorado. She also has numerous relatives and friends in the North Platte area.

Renae was preceded in death by her mother Becky, her father Frank, and her Grandfather Harold Parish.

Cremation was chosen and the family will host a private Celebration of Life at a later date.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
