Reuben Ray Casillas, age 55 of North Platte, passed away Friday May 18, 2018.

Reuben was born April 10, 1963 in North Platte to Joseph Raymond and Ramona (Luna) Casillas. He attended school in North Platte and worked in construction through the years.  He had many talents, was an amazing card player and dancer, enjoyed playing pool and was in a band as a lead singer and guitarist.  He loved his family and would do anything for them; he was very good to his parents, nieces and nephews.  He loved the Dallas Cowboys and had a strong faith and loved the Lord.

Reuben is survived by his mother, Ramona of North Platte; siblings, Cammi (Phillip) Valdez of CO, Patrick Casillas of North Platte and Sandy (Eric Allen) Casillas of North Platte; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; and brother, Timothy.

Memorials are suggested in his name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com .  Cremation was chosen.  Christian Wake Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday May 22, 2018 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 23, 2018 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at the North Platte Cemetery.  Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
