Richard Blaine Cover Jr., 56, of North Platte, passed away February 5, 2024 at home.  He was born on May 21, 1967 to Richard Sr. and Margaret Tyacke in Charleston, S.C.

Richard enjoyed going thrift shopping to see what treasures he could find.  He had a love of collecting Hot Wheels, he always knew if he already owned one when shopping for more.  Richard loved getting visits from his family but also loved his alone time jamming out to music in his apartment.

Survivors include his father, Richard B. Cover Sr.; mother, Margaret Tyacke; sisters, Chris Decker and Cindy Cummings; children, Richard B. Cover III, Stephanie A. Cover, and Megan L. Cover; grandsons, Robert Cover-Walker, Brandon Grooms, and Mason Jack; numerous other family members and friends.  One in particular, Connie Reese who was very close to Richard, always sending him goodies every holiday or ordering him door dash for dinner.

Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
