IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ricky
Andersen
February 7, 1955 – November 24, 2021
Ricky Lars Andersen, 66, of North Platte passed away at GP Health on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was born on February 7, 1955 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Lyle and Lois (Reimer) Andersen.
Rick graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1973. He met and married the love of his life, Deb (Siegert) Andersen on June 25, 1983. Together they had two children, Kevin and Rachel. He was a meat cutter and manager at Hinky Dinky, Sixth Street, and Safeway for 20 years before joining Andersen and Sons Napa where he worked alongside his parents and brothers for 30 years.
Rick was a loving, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He was truly an exceptional man that left an impression on all those who were lucky enough to know him. He was always quick to joke and had the unique ability to make those around him feel special. In addition to spending time with family, he had a love of classic cars, his '70 Chevelle SS in particular, quiet mornings outside on the porch, and had a knack for fixing just about everything.
Rick is survived by his wife, Debra Andersen; son, Kevin (Mary) Andersen; daughter, Rachel (Macklin) Warrington; mother Lois Andersen; brothers, Ron (Dr. Susan Schuckert) Andersen and Russ (Elizabeth) Andersen; sisters-in-law, Julie Andersen and Rebecca Siegert; brother-in-law, Kyle (Jackie) Siegert; grandsons, Ace Andersen and Finn Warrington; granddaughters, Vivian Andersen and Fay Warrington; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Andersen; brother, Robert (Bob) Andersen; father-in-law, Robert (Bob) Siegert; mother-in-law, Jane Siegert; sister-in-law, Gina Martin.
