Robert Glen Cheever Jr., age 56, of North Platte, NE, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Great Plains Health.

Robert was born April 4, 1969, in North Platte to Alice (Borron) and Robert Glen Cheever Sr.

Glen was always family-oriented. Spending time with his loved ones and close friends was very important to him and Glen was quick to lend a helping hand.

Growing up, Glen loved to be out at the lakes swimming. He looked forward to attending auctions with his dad and bringing home treasures.

Glen worked various jobs in construction, running different types of heavy machinery. He loved to stay busy and was always tinkering on things around the farm and fixing up the house. Glen had a love for animals, especially rescuing stray cats. He opened his home to as many as he could.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children Crystal (Eric) Tinajera-Reynolds of Lincoln, Zachariah Tinajera of Lincoln, and Colby (Sophie) Tinajera of Colorado; step-children Amanda Ware of Nevada and Ronald Ware of Oregon; grandchild, Elicia Kay whom he adored above all else; and many more family members.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alice Cheever and sisters Tery Dishman and Patricia "Patty" Cheever.

Memorials are suggested to Paws-itive Partners of North Platte in memory of Glen.
