Robert Glen Cheever Sr., 77, of North Platte, passed away October 17, 2023 at home.  He was born June 17, 1946 to Charles and Viola (Cooper) Cheever in North Platte.

Robert grew up in North Platte and he married Alice Borron.  Robert worked at the sale barn for many years and later worked for Weathercraft.  He was a very good carpenter and built a barn on his own place.  Robert liked to travel and vacation in the camper with his wife.  He enjoyed going to cattle sales and auctions.

Survivors include son, Robert Glen Cheever Jr. of North Platte; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Darlene) Cheever, and Billy Joe Clark; sister, Joyce Tyan; several nieces and nephews as well as many other family members and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Viola; wife, Alice; daughters, Terry and Patricia; siblings, Albert, Laverne, Joan, Virginia and Velma.

Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 27, 2023 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with Lieutenant Camon Landry officiating.  Those wishing to sign the book may do so 9:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M., Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
