Robert Chester Dugan, 86, of North Platte passed away June 18, 2025 at Centennial Park Retirement Village.  He was born March 18, 1939 to Russell Pearl and Minnie (Cellan) Dugan in Wallace.

Robert grew up in Wallace and went through the 12th grade.  After high school he joined the Army National Guard.  After getting out of the National Guard he did various jobs, working for UPS, North Platte Packing Plant, Aupperle Plumbing for 20+ years, and Schwindt at various gas stations in North Platte and surrounding areas.  He retired and lived at the High Rise for 15 years with his beautiful wife Marie (Campbell) Dugan of 61 ½ years.  Robert and Marie were married in Cheyenne, Wyoming on October 3, 1963.  To this union two children were born. Timothy Allen and Teresa Marie.

Robert liked watching cartoons, westerns, and stock car races on television.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening.  Robert dearly loved his family and visiting friends.

Survivors include his two children, Tim Dugan of Wichita, Kansas and Teresa Dugan of North Platte; sisters, Ida Ingels of Geneva, Texas, Beverly (Don) Lee of Madrid; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; brothers, Max Jr., LeRoy, Ralph, Donald; sisters, Juaneta Williams, Wynona Corbin, Rosie Baker.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M., Friday, June 20, 2025 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 23, 2025 at Morningview Cemetery near Wallace.  Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
