Robert Wayne Law, age 87 of the North Platte, Sutherland area passed away Thursday November 30, 2017 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Brush, CO.
Bob was born on January 26, 1930 in Wallace, NE to Jacob Arthur and Edna (Tullis) Law. He grew up in the Wallace area and attended school thru the 8th grade. He entered the US Army in March of 1951, serving in the Korean War. After his discharge he returned to the family farm in Sutherland where he lived and worked. He also worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads and upon his retirement, moved to North Platte. After his parents' death he moved in with his sister Hazel. He enjoyed his quiet farm life and will be missed by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by nieces, Barbara (Brad) Greenwood of Ft. Morgan, CO, Carol (Darrell) Palmer of Ft. Morgan, CO, Ellen (Wes) Dixon of Sterling, CO, Gloria (Alan) Ruppert of Maxwell, NE, Evelyn Ryun of Greeley, CO, and Denise Ehlers of North Platte, NE; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Hazel; and brothers Roy, Dale and Kenny.
Memorials are suggested in his name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday December 6, 2017 at the Morningview Cemetery in Wallace. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday December 5, 2017 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
