Obituary

Ronnie Hart Tatman age 73, formerly of North Platte, died July 27, 2012 at the Veteran's Hospital in Cheyenne Wyoming. Ronnie was born on February 28,1939in North Platte, NE to Harold J and Dorothy (Hart) Tatman. He graduated from Kearney High School in 1956. After graduation Ronnie joined the Air Force where he served from 1958-1965.After his return to North Platte, he then began to work for the United States Postal Service for 35 years.
On September 29 1961 Ronnie married Sue Ann Smith in Bellevue, Nebraska. He enjoyed camping and fishing. After his retirement from the Postal service, he and Sue passionately traveled for 12 years in their RV. He and Sue celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last September.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sue; two children, son, Mike (Shauna) Tatman; a daughter, Page (Phillip) Cardenas; three brothers, Terry (Marlene), Larry (Joyce), and Fred (Carol) Tatman; 6 grandchildren, Misty Tatman (friend Anthony), Stephanie (Dan) Seamann, Michelle, Christopher (Tami) Tatman, Sarah Cardenas, and Elizabeth Cardenas; 7 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Donna Smith and Pam (LeRoy) Hansen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Squire Gordon; two brothers, Harold and Jerry Tatman. A memorial has been established to the Salvation Army and online condolences can be made at www.adamsswanson.com.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday July 31, 2012 at the Adams & Swanson Chapel with the Rev. Lew Champ officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
