Obituary

Ruby Taylor, 74, of North Platte, passed away February 20, 2020 at home surrounded by family. She was born April 17, 1945 to Henry and Vesta (Hagewood) Fowler.

Ruby grew up in Aurora, Missouri. She was a waitress for many years before becoming a store manager at Denny's Restaurant in Sacramento, California. Ruby married Robert Williams in 1969 and to this union, six children were born.

She married John T. Taylor on April 17, 1980 in Reno, Nevada. Ruby moved to North Platte in 2015 after John's death.

Ruby loved her family, especially her grandkids and her dogs.

Survivors include six children, Deanna (Larry) Nichelson of North Platte, Kathy Doty of Mesa, Arizona, Robin Williams of Evansville, Indiana, Belva Williams of Panama, Robert (Mary) Williams Jr. of South Dakota, John Mark (Becky) Williams of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; sister Lucy.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., February 24, 2020 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
