Seth William Jackson, age 37, of North Platte, NE, was taken to heaven with his sister Keely Victoria Jackson on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Seth was born Tuesday, August 23, 1988, in North Platte, Nebraska to LaRue and Vickie (Lindsey) Jackson.

Seth was a free-spirit, never one to be tied down. As a child he had the best times traveling the west coast with his parents and sister. He was a fly by the seat of your pants guy, living moment to moment, but could always be someone to depend on when times got tough. He loved helping people whenever he could, even though he never had much, he always gave of himself and whatever he had at any opportunity. He met Jessica Martin when he was 13 years old and as young adults he truly loved her more than anyone. That is, until the birth of their daughter Kaydience Renee Martin-Jackson on April 16, 2010, who became not only the pride and joy of his life, but his whole world, his everything. They had a very special bond and enjoyed riding bikes to the park, watching movies, making up songs, and playing in the treehouse he had built for her.

Seth will be remembered as a jack of all trades. He was always doing odd jobs and fixing anything that was broken. He had a passion for construction. His favorite color was blue. You could always find him with a fitted flat bill hat and a pair of sunglasses. He had a sweet tooth and loved King Bing Bars and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Seth enjoyed crime investigation shows, his favorite being Castle and Law & Order:SVU. Those closest to him say he was never afraid to show emotion, always wearing his heart on his sleeve. He was truly the sweetest and most loving person whose presence will be missed.

He loved all animals, especially dogs and had a very special bond with our beloved family pet, Maximillian Martin-Jackson III, who gained his angel wings along with Seth. We take comfort in knowing Max is faithfully walking beside Seth forever in heaven as he was here on earth.

Those left to cherish Seth’s memory are His Daughter: Kaydience Renee Martin-Jackson of Cozad; Mother: Vickie Jackson of North Platte; Sister: Autumn Johnson (John Cowles) of WA; Nephews: Shelby (Sonia) Cook of Lincoln; Chas (Janie Northey) McKenney of North Platte; Milo (Mady Buble) Cook of Austin, MN; and Jax McKenney of North Platte; Nieces: Cheyenne Cook of Milford; and Harlow McKenney of North Platte Great-Nieces: Evangeline McKenney and twins Gwendolyn and Rozlyn McKenney all of North Platte; and many more family and friends whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his father LaRue William Jackson and goes to join him with his sister Keely Victoria Jackson.

Cremation has been chosen. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting family with arrangements.
