May 16, 1951-March 27, 2025.

Lifelong North Platte resident Stephen Dent, DDS, passed away on March 27, 2025.  He was preceded in death by father George Dent, Jr., mother Maxine Jennings, step-father Bill Jennings, and brother-in-law Roger Dillon.  Survived by siblings Janice Dillon, Michael Dent and Nancy (Keith) Rudeen; nieces Tracy (Rich) Huff, Mary Dillon, Jennifer Dent; nephews Charlie (Ashton) Rudeen and Dane Rudeen; uncle Robert (Valarie)Jackson; great-nieces/nephews; cousins; special beloved dog companions Lily and Heidi; and many longtime dear friends.

He will be deeply missed.

Per his request, a private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Platte Animal Shelter to honor Steve's love of animals
