Obituary

Terry Wolzen, born May 28, 1955, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at the age of 69. A proud Marine and devoted family man, Terry lived a life marked by service, strength, and love for those closest to him.

Terry's unwavering dedication to his country began with his time in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served and exemplified the values of honor, courage, and commitment. These principles guided him throughout his life, both in and out of uniform. Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding joy in the great outdoors and sharing his passions with those he loved.

Terry was the loving father of Janine Booher, Terry Wolzen Jr., Derek Wolzen, and Kurtis Ivey, and his love extended further to his cherished grandchildren: Colton, Lily, Landry, Andrew, and Scarlett. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched, the values he instilled, and the countless memories created with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Vaughndel Abels, and stepfather, Melvin Abels; his siblings, Timothy (Janell) Wolzen, Troy (Jill) Wolzen, Susan (Todd) Athy, Barry (Deadre) Wolzen, Bart (Jamie) Wolzen, Diane Rowlett, and Brian Rowlett; and numerous nephews and nieces. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Dean Wolzen and stepmothers, Randie Wolzen and Sally Haynie. Terry shared a special bond with his siblings, who remember him for his humor, strength, and loyalty.

Terry's memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A man of integrity, warmth, and unwavering dedication, he leaves behind a legacy of love and honor.
