Thomas Robert Janes, age 58, of North Platte, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at his home. He was born January 24, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA to Robert and Barbara Proveux Janes. On August 27, 1978 he married Annette Jones in Pemberton, New Jersey. The family moved to North Platte in April 1982. Thomas had two passions in life, music and his grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Jason (Briana Houser) Janes and Joshua Jones; mother, Barbara Budden of FL; three sisters; 7 grandchildren, Izabella, Allyson, Connor, Kaden, Laila, Madison and Mia.
He was preceded in death by his father; a twin brother; and his grandparents.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Victory Church of God with the Reverend Dean Bailey officiating.
