Tia Lynn Helmut found peace with Our Lord on July 5, 2012, after a lengthy illness. She was Executive Administrator for Anthem Blue Cross and she was a prolific writer of poems.
Tia is survived by her mother and stepfather, Richard and Bonnie Maddox of Wellfleet, NE; her father John (Ann) Helmut of Ft. Collins, CO; her brother Todd (Kasey) Helmut; two nieces Kaitlyn and Allison of Wichita, KS; her Great Grandmother Birdie Helmut and her Aunt June Helmut, both of Ft. Collins, CO; her Great Grandmother Helen Maddox of Wichita, KS; her good friend Bill Small; many cousins, friends and her beloved cats..
A memorial has been established to the North Platte Animal Shelter and on-line condolences may be made at www.adamsswanson.com. Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Ft. Morgan, CO.
