Victor George Walter, Jr., 43, of North Platte, passed away at his home on April 26, 2023. He was born to Victor and Ruth (Bower) Walter, Sr. on December 14, 1979, in Yankton, SD.

As a child, Victor lived in North Platte and attended North Platte Public Schools. Immediately upon leaving high school, he moved to Omaha and began his life long career as a diesel mechanic. After living in Omaha for a decade, he made the decision to move back to North Platte, continuing his passion in the automotive field.

Victor was a handyman and enjoyed tinkering with odds and ends and repairing different items. He adored his two daughters, Gabrielle Lynn and Victoria Georgia, and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a stoic man, hard headed, and stubborn but once you got to the core of him, he was a gentle and kind man and would do anything for anyone.

Those surviving Victor include his daughters, Gabrielle Lynn and Victoria Georgia; father, Victor Walter, Sr.; siblings, Sarah (Rick) Bialek and Josh (Chelsea) Walter; uncles, Ray (Laura) Bower and Ed (Lori) Walter, other family and friends.

Preceding him in death is his mother, Ruth Ann Hoffman; and his grandparents.

Cremation was chosen. Private family services will be held.
