Vivian Juanita "Nina" Nabery, age 62, of North Platte, passed away March 31, 2014 at her home. She was born on November 5, 1951 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Otha and Margree (Wilson) Nabery. Juanita moved with her family to North Platte when she was 6, and attended North Platte High School.

Juanita worked at Taco Johns for a few years before going to Best Linen. She later worked at Linden Manor, but then returned to Best Linen until her health forced her retirement. She loved all sports and coaching girls' softball. She especially liked following her son Greg's sports throughout his career.

Nina is survived by her son Greg Nabery of Pittsburg, PA; her mother, Margree Nabery of North Platte; sisters, Mary Corine (Benjamin) Perkins of Lincoln, and Savannah Sellers of North Platte; a brother, Fred Nabery of North Platte; nieces and nephews, including Tyrone (Susan) Sellers of Vancouver, WA and Lienal Sellers of North Platte; as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Otha Nabery; and sister Ernestine Nabery.

Memorials are suggested in her name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com . Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 5, 2013 at The Salvation Army with Lt. Brianne Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00, at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
