Walter Joseph Revers, 94, of North Platte, passed away peacefully at his home on November 19, 2020. Walter was born on April 14, 1926 to Thomas Revers and Winifred Wallace in Omaha, Nebraska.

Walt entered the United States Navy in July of 1943. After getting out of the Navy, Walt went to work for Union Pacific Railroad. He eventually ended up in North Platte where he retired from the railroad.

Walt was preceded in death by his wife Betty. Survivors include his son, Henry (Ruthanne) Revers; brothers, Thomas Revers and Ronald Revers; sisters, Loretta Vondra, Betty Mona, Mary Pat Homsey, Bernice Smith, and Barbara Revers; grandchildren, Melanie Revers, Russell and Jason Dimmock; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 14, 2021 (on what would have been his 95 ^th birthday) at North Platte Cemetery with military honors. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
