On Friday, March 28, 2025, William "Bill" Bruce Morton, Sr., passed away at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE.

Bill was born to Lee and Alice Morton on October 26, 1960, in North Platte.  Bill was raised in North Platte, graduating from NPHS with the class of 1979.  Upon completion of high school, Bill went on to attend MPCC where he received a technical degree in electronics.  Bill worked as an electrician for the Union Pacific Railroad until 2004.

Bill was adventurous and fun by nature; he loved to hunt, fish, dance, and take endless drives.   No one was a stranger to him; he would often get caught up in conversations with anyone he ran into at the grocery store.  Bill also loved woodworking  and could fix just about anything.

Survivors of Bill include his sister Susan Morton; his children, Will, Jr., Kerby, Eli, Etta, Anna, and Roena; and special friend Pam Hoatson.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10 AM, at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home, with Deb Dishman officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens in North Platte.  Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2025 from 12 to 5 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home who is assisting the family.  The service will be livestreamed at www.adamsswanson.com.
