Wilma Jeanette Guildner, 91, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, passed away June 25, 2022 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg.  She was born on June 2, 1931, to Elmer and Cora (Bierhaus) Mickels in Madrid, Nebraska.

Wilma raised beautiful Iris flowers, volunteered for the election board in Perkins County, loved her cats and polar bears.  She loved to read, especially her bible.  Wilma spent her days with her children and keeping the house together.  She loved the staff and residents at Hilltop Estates and loved giving hugs.  Wilma was always be remembered as being very curious, had a great sense of humor, always happy, a great appreciation for life and very strong in her faith.  You could always find a bag of M & M's with her.

Wilma is survived by her children, Gayle Reed and William "Will" Guildner; grandchildren, James (Angie) Reed and Christopher (Keila) Reed; along with her great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chalmer Guildner; son-in-law, Clifford Reed; parents, Elmer and Cora Mickels; mother and father-in-law, Louis and Nina Guildner.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

In keeping to Wilma's wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at the Grant Cemetery, Grant, Nebraska.
