Wilma E. Johnston, age 85, of North Platte passed away September 30, 2018 at her home. Wilma was born on November 7, 1932 in Wellfleet to Charles W. and Laurenia (Maurer) Miller one of eight children. She attended Sunny Slope School near Wellfleet. She married Francis Leon Johnston in 1953. To this union 3 sons were born.

Wilma was a homemaker and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Gothenburg on February 1, 1969. She was a great homemaker, gardener, who loved animals, and who played the fiddle, accordian, and the piano. Wilma loved to travel and took her family on many trips. Her family and faith were very important to her.

Survivors include sons, Terry, Lynn and Leon Johnston all of North Platte; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and all of her brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. October 6, 2018 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses with burial to follow at the Wellfleet Cemetery. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
