Wynona May Emerson, 80, of North Platte, passed away March 24, 2023 at North Platte Care Center.  She was born August 10, 1942 to Charles and Wealtha (Blakeman) Emerson in North Platte.

Wynona spent her whole life in North Platte.  She enjoyed doing crafts for fun.  She worked in laundry at the Interstate Inn for over 10 years.  She loved working with the children at Salvation Army Church.

Survivors include brothers, Delbert (Janice) Emerson, LeRoy (Ursula) Emerson; numerous other nieces and nephews, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Wealtha; siblings, Willard and Marie Emerson, Cynthia and Von Demilt, Deloris and Don Mowers, Clifford Emerson, Lois Emerson.

Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 27, 2023 at Salvation Army Church with Major Lynnete Poff officiating.  Burial will follow at North Platte Cemetery.  Visitation will be held noon-6:00 P.M., Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements
