Zoe Ann Harwick, 74, left this earth peacefully on September 6, 2026, while residing in Floresville, Texas.

She was born on November 21, 1951, to Virginia P. Burke and James B. Waugh in North Platte, Nebraska.

A graduate of North Platte High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Jim Harwick, on April 29, 1972. Together, they built a life with their 3 children. They resided in Nebraska, Colorado, and Texas. After raising their own children, Jim and Zoe Ann enjoyed their time together, camping with their three grandchildren, and traveling to many places with their 5th wheel in tow. Regardless of their location, if a Nebraska Cornhusker football game was on, Zoe Ann was watching with her beloved dog, Charlie, by her side.

Zoe Ann's professional career as a legal secretary spanned over 30 years. She loved her work, meeting and speaking with clients, and socializing with her colleagues. She retired in 2020.

Zoe Ann is survived by her husband, Jim Harwick of Floresville, TX, Son Jeff (Heidi) Harwick of Floresville, TX, daughter Jamie (Ian) Keller of Windsor, CO, and son Jay Harwick of Kimball, NE, her beloved grandchildren; Holden, Addi, and Calli Kleinman, her sister Peggy (Thad) Stark of North Platte, NE, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Virginia Burke, her father James Waugh, her parents-in-law Bud and Ardis Harwick, and her sister-in-law Jolene Harwick.

Internment services to be held on September 25th, 2026, at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens in North Platte, NE at 10:30 am. With a reception to follow at the Moose Lodge at 1315 E 4th Street, North Platte, NE. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the University of Nebraska Medical Center or the University of Colorado Alzheimer's and Cognition Center.
